ONE of the stars of Mrs Brown’s Boys has slammed critics of the show at the movie’s world premiere in Dublin this evening.
Rory Cowan, who plays Agnes’ son Rory, said that the cast have never paid attention to negative critical reviews.
“They never helped us on the way up. They were always irrelevant to us, so what a critic says to us doesn’t matter”, he told Independent.ie.
“I was a press officer 35 years ago for EMI and it was the same critics back then.
“They’re still doing what they were doing 35 years ago, why would I care less what they’re saying?
“You’ve never developed, You’ve never gone past that. You’re still doing it.
“Not my fault, they stayed where they are for 35 years not me.”
