The first trailer for the biopic, titled Steve Jobs and starring the Oscar-nominated Irish actor, has been unveiled online. Jobs died in 2011 following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Written by The Social Network's Aaron Sorkin, the film is based on Walter Isaacson's biography of the innovative technology creator, who was inspired many.

Kate Winslet stars opposite Fassbender as co-worker Joanna Hoffman, while Seth Rogen plays his business partner Steve Wozniak and Jeff Daniels appears as former Apple president John Scully.

The trailer shows Wozniak complaining to Jobs that he took all the credit for his work creating the original Mac computer, while Winslet's character accuses him of "alienating people for no reason".

It also shows how Jobs refused for many years to acknowledge or offer financial support to his daughter Lisa, who he fathered with high-school sweetheart and Apple co-worker Chrisann Brennan.

The movie is the second film about Jobs, following 2013's Jobs, which starred Ashton Kutcher in the lead and Josh Gad as Wozniak.

Kutcher was a big fan of Jobs and that movie portrayed him in a very positive light, but the film was a flop.

Steve Jobs will hit cinemas in November.
