While Nidge and Walter White may seem like natural screen buddies, both actors will play characters on the right side of the law.

Vaughan Lawlor will swap his Nidge Nike runners for something more professional as he plays Steve Cook, Mazur's supervisor.

Vaughan Lawlor will also share the big screen with actress and former fashion model Diane Kruger.

The film is slated for a 2016 release, and shooting is believed to be taking place in London, Paris and Florida.

Producer Miriam Segal said the team had "invested a great deal of time ensuring that the casting on this film is absolutely perfect".

Vaughan Lawlor will also star in the Jim Sheridan film The Secret Scripture, due out later this year. He was spotted filming on Dollymount Strand alongside fellow Irish actor Jack Reynor.
