Filming of 'Star Wars Episode VIII' will resume today, after adverse weather led to the cancellation of boats going to Skellig Michael yesterday.
A crew of 100 - including actor Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker - is expected to leave the pier at Portmagee from 7am for the first day of filming.
Some cast members are staying at the Butler Arms Hotel in Waterville, including Hamill, whose son Nathan was spotted checking in yesterday afternoon. Some of the crew are also staying in Portmagee.
A limited number of helicopter flights, understood to be four a day, will be allowed to operate to and from the Unesco World Heritage Site during filming of the sci-fi blockbuster.
