It looks like the sequel to the hugely successful Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie could hit screens next year.
Series star Rory Cowan, who plays Mrs Brown's son, has said the full cast will return for a second film, although creator Brendan O'Carroll has yet to put pen to paper on the script.
The cast is currently touring Australia with their stage show.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Star, Rory said "I know it hasn't been finalised yet but there is talk about doing another movie in September or October time.
"It'll hopefully come out next year. Brendan hasn't written it yet so I don't know."
While many big screen adaptations of TV series see the characters head abroad, Rory is adamant Mrs Brown will be staying in Dublin.
"Going on what [Brendan] has said before, he never wanted to do a movie like Mrs Brown going on holidays and things going wrong. Mrs Brown is all about her family, her home and her stall in Moore Street.
"Mrs Brown wouldn't do anyhting in Australia. We're here doing a tour but the whole play is set in Dublin.
"I imagine the next movie will be set in Dublin because that's where she lives."
Rory will appear in the first episode of the new series of The Restaurant on TV3 on Wednesday night at 9pm.
