It sounds so terrible it might just work.
The 2014 Sony leaks revealed the studio's plans to merge their Jump Street and Men in Black franchises and now it's official.
Sony has just announced the project - MIB 23- at Cinema Con but only Jump Street due Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill look set to return.
There's no mention of Men in Black's Tommy Lee Jones or Will Smith, or even Josh Brolin.
James Bobin is expected to helm the flick while producers Phil Lord and Chris Millers are already on board.
Speaking to MTV they said, "It's still a crazy idea, and we only do things that seem like they're going to be terrible.
"We're really focusing on what's a great story for Schmidt and Jenko and how to tell the next chapter in their lives. And perhaps use creatures from another world at the same time."

MIB 23 is the name of the Men in Black / 21 Jump Street crossover movie that I am entirely too excited for.— Eric Goldman (@TheEricGoldman) April 13, 2016
What's the point of doint "MIB23" if Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones aren't gonna be back? Dumb dumb dumb.— TheMusicRevue (@NickCorjay) April 13, 2016
Personally, I would have done an MIB/Ghostbusters cross-over. Yes. They could fit. Read MIB comics #mib23— Martyn (@BadWilf) April 13, 2016
Don't know how I feel about #MIB23, but hey, it might just work!— Jason Mickey (@jbugstudios) April 13, 2016
