Love/Hate's Aaron Heffernan joins Sam Worthington for big screen sci-fi blockbuster

Former Love/Hate star Aaron Heffernan is teaming up with Hollywood hunk Sam Worthington and Taylor Schilling in a new sci-fi action film.
Aaron - who played the part of Detective Gav in RTE's gangland drama - took on the role of Zane Gorski in The Titan.
"It's very cool," he told the Herald.
"We just finished shooting in Gran Canaria in Spain. It was an incredible experience and a great team to work with."
The film will also feature former supermodel Agness Deyn, Tom Wilkinson and Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel.
The sci-fi movie tells the story of a "military family" who take part in a "ground-breaking experiment of genetic evolution and space exploration".
"I play a US marine - we had to do a lot of swimming and fight sequences. I was trained by my brother 'Coach Heff' at MetaPhysiques," he added.
Aaron who is the cousin of model Thalia Heffernan has plenty of projects in the pipeline.
He will star in BBC 2 drama Mum which airs this spring.
The six-part sitcom stars award-winning actress Lesley Manville and tells the story of a woman rebuilding her life after the death of her husband.
Aaron also has a starring role in drama Obsession, which has just aired in the US.
The series is based on real-life stories of people who have been targets of compulsive stalkers.
He also works with theatre company Collapsing Horse, which he set up with former game of Thrones star Jack Gleeson.
