The new 43 second clip shown at Comic Con in San Diego seems Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) hailed as the hero of the rebellion in full superhero-esque garb.

"Freedom is worth fighting for," the tagline reads in the trailer for the last instalment of the hugely successful franchise.

The Oscar winner featured on the Comic Con panel alongside her franchise co-stars Liam Hutcherson and Josh Hutcherson and said that the trio have a "sick relationship".

"The three of us have a sick, sick, sick, sick relationship," she laughed to MTV News. "None of us will be able to have functioning, healthy relationships. Josh’s girlfriend is the only person — thank God — who could ever understand our love for each other."

And the Academy Award-winning actress has managed to get Liam, 25, addicted to the reality television shows she watches in their downtime.

"Josh , Liam and I live on our own island," she told reporters at Comic-Con, according to People magazine. "We just kind of are always at Liam's house in Malibu drinking wine. I got [Liam] hooked on reality TV!"
