Home Alone's Kevin is all grown up as Macauley Culkin reprises role (but it’s not for kids)
It has been 25 years since Macauley Culkin burst on to the scene as blonde-haired, blue-eyed Kevin McAllister in Home Alone.
Accidentally left home alone in New York while his family spent the Christmas holidays abroad, Kevin battled bungling burglars with a variety of innovative traps.
How Culkin has reprised the role, albeit the adult version, for the first episode of new web series DRYVRS. And it's not pretty.
The show, which has not been backed by the film studio behind Home Alone, charts a man's (encounters with drivers of cars in a company that resembles Uber.
Culkin plays a 30 year old Kevin who stands in for his wife Anna who works as a driver for the company and "did too much blow last night".
He rejects a call from his mother and then tells the story of THAT Christmas.
“I still have nightmares,” he says before launching into a tirade about his childhood (Jack Dishel) with plenty of bad language).
"All by yourself, for a week. I had to fend off my house from two psychopath home invaders. I was just a kid, I still have nightmares about this bald weirdo dude chasing me around.”
Kevin is also seen fending off a carjacker in the show, with all the ingenuity of his eight year old self.
Here's the show - be warned, the language is definitely DNSFW:
