Milla's challenging fight scenes

Milla Jovovich got a rough time in Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D.
The Ukrainian-born model-turned-actress, who reprises her role as superhuman security officer Alice in the fourth instalment of the zombie thriller, claimed filming in 3D ensured the cast couldn't get away with "tricks" they would normally employ in 2D movies.
"When you're doing a fight sequence you've got to get really close to make it believable and a lot of times 'really close' means you get banged up by other people - you get punched in the head, you get kicked," she said.
She continued: "We were all having a laugh because a lot of times you're just going to get beat up. I think it sort of added this whole new dimension - no pun intended - to both the audience and us as actors."
Milla, who gets to battle a new group of zombies in Afterlife, said it's always "a challenge" to do the fight scenes.
"At this point I have a certain level of experience that you can't take away from me, but every time, they're going to ask me to do harder and harder stuff so it's always a challenge," she admitted.
"It's like now because I know the basic moves, we can pump up the action that much bigger because it's not like I'm starting from ground zero."
