Mena excited about American Reunion
Mena Suvari has revealed she has signed up to star in the next American Pie sequel - although she can't believe it's already a decade since she appeared in the original film.
The American Beauty star, who played shy Heather in the first film, is excited to be reuniting with her co-stars in American Reunion 10 years after the first box office storming comedy.
Mena said: "I'm going to be working on American Reunion, so going back to the States and I think we're going to be working in the south, it's going to be a couple of months and that's going to be really exciting, I'm looking forward to that."
Alyson Hannigan and Jason Biggs, whose characters were married in the third film, have already signed up, along with Seann William Scott, Chris Klein and Eugene Levy.
Mena added: "The majority of us have. It's exciting. It's shocking though that it's been 10 years already. Time just flies."
But the actress wasn't giving anything away about the plot, thought to centre around problems with Jason Biggs' character's marriage.
She said: "I actually don't know anything. When I get home I'm gonna read it for the first time so I really don't know much but I'm excited to see."
Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, and Jennifer Coolidge are reportedly in talks to appear as well.
Harold & Kumar: Escape From Guantanamo Bay's Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are writing and directing Reunion, the fourth installment in the series, which is due to begin filming in May.
Mena has been in London filming The Knot, a British romantic comedy starring and co-written by Noel Clarke. The film, which also stars Matthew McNulty and Talulah Riley, will open in cinemas in 2012.
