McAvoy: I wanted Wanted sequel
James McAvoy has revealed he would have liked a Wanted sequel.
The Scottish actor starred in the 2008 action thriller, which was based on Mark Millar and JG Jones' comic book series of the same name, alongside Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman.
"I had some good ideas for Wanted 2 but I don't think they were that interested in them," he said. "I had a really cool opening sequence in my head."
James - who next returns to play Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men: Days Of Future Past - said he would also like to reprise his role as Filth's troubled cop Bruce Robertson, as well as his award-nominated role as Doctor Nicholas Garrigan in Kevin Macdonald's The Last King Of Scotland, which also starred Forest Whitaker.
"I'd quite like to make a sequel to Filth. That'd be cool just because I loved playing that guy," he continued.
"And just for my own personal interest, I'd quite like to know what Nicholas Garrigan from The Last King Of Scotland is up to 10 years later. Not that that film needs a sequel but I'd just like to know what happens to him.
"It's probably messed up his life a bit. He's probably doing something really naughty," he joked.
:: X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens in cinemas on May 22.
