Martin Scorsese has told Leona Lewis that he is a massive fan.
The legendary film director made a beeline for the former X Factor winner at the Golden Globes to tell her how much he liked her ballads.
A source told The Sun: "Leona couldn't believe it when Martin sought her out at the awards - he told her he listens to Bleeding Love every day when he goes out jogging."
Leona, 24, already has admirers in the movie world after recording I See You, the theme tune to James Cameron's Avatar.
The track was up for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes but lost out to Ryan Bingham's The Weary Kind, from the film Crazy Heart.
Goodfellas director Marty, 67, has music credentials - he is known to be a big fan of the Rolling Stones, directing the documentary Shine A Light about the band.
Before the Globes, singer Leona treated her management team and staff to traditional English fare of fish and chips at an English-themed bar in Santa Monica, where expats such as Vinnie Jones hang out.
