Mariah Carey's Woody Allen hopes
Mariah Carey has named Woody Allen as the director she would most like to work with.
The Precious star told E! News: "I've never met him, but Bullets Over Broadway is one of my favourite movies ever - I can quote every word, I think it's amazing."
The singer won over critics with her performance as a social worker in Oscar-winning movie Precious, after her debut movie Glitter - about an 80s club singer's rise to diva fame - was panned.
Mariah said of her future acting work: "I'm going to try to be careful about what I do. You've got to work with people who bring you to another level, and you have to surround yourself with people you can fully give yourself to."
Meanwhile, High School Musical star Zac Efron revealed he dreams of working with James Cameron, or even of just meeting the Avatar director.
He told E! News: "It would be great to shake his hand. Avatar was a breakthrough in so many ways. You walked away and just wanted to live in that world. It's like the first time you saw Jurassic Park."
