Seth MacFarlane has reportedly written a comedy Western and is hoping to take it to the big screen.
The US actor and director is planning to star in A Million Ways To Die In The West - which he penned with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild - and will also be at the helm, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.
The film is apparently in the style of 1974 satirical Western comedy Blazing Saddles, and will require a female romantic lead.
Deals for the period film aren't in place but Media Rights Capital, which backed Seth's talking teddy bear comedy Ted this year, is said to be behind the flick.
Seth has been piling up the projects in the last couple of months, recently hinting that he would like to make a sequel to Ted and revealing that a movie spin-off of his hit animated TV series Family Guy is in the pipeline.
The 39-year-old is also set to host the 2013 Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles.
