Joanna Lumley has said she would love to be given the chance to be a Bond girl once again, as her first appearance was a highlight of her career.
The actress took a brief role in On Her Majesty's Secret Service early in her career.
But, as she was announced as the host for an evening of James Bond music at the Henley Festival this summer, she said she would love to make a return to the hit movies.
She said: "The very words 'James Bond' bring a rush of excitement to my heart: even though it was forty-five years ago, even though I really only had two lines in the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I am as proud of being a Bond Girl as of anything else in my career.
"I can't wait for this spectacular Bond night on the river; as the evening progresses I shall of course be auditioning, fairly subtly, for a future role in another of these sensational films: and it need only be two lines."
Joanna will present an evening of Bond music played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra called Shaken And Stirred at the festival on July 13.
There will also be a performance by Strictly Come Dancing's Kristina Rihanoff and Robin Windsor.
Artists performing on other days during the festival include Jamie Cullum, Madness and Paloma Faith.
