Love Hewitt cast in racy movie
Jennifer Love Hewitt has landed a film role as a struggling mother who gets a job in a massage parlour where clients expect more than just a massage.
The 31-year-old actress - who recently split from her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy - will star in the film tentatively titled The List, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jennifer will play a married mother-of-three and former beauty queen in small-town Texas who faces eviction after an injury stops her husband from working.
Convinced that no-one as pretty as her deserves to be poor she takes a job as a masseuse, only to learn that her clients expect more than a rubdown.
Eric Laneuville, who has directed more than a dozen episodes of CBS show The Ghost Whisperer, is set to helm the Lifetime project, which is being produced by Jaffe/Braunstein.
The movie, written by Frasier's Suzanne Martin, is due to begin shooting in Vancouver this spring for release later this year.
Jennifer this week released a dating book - The Day I Shot Cupid: My Name Is Jennifer Love Hewitt And I'm A Love-Aholic - and revealed she is moving on from her break-up from Jamie, after a year-long relationship.
She said: "Put your big girl pants on and move on - 72 hours is an appropriate time, after that you start to smell and your friends don't want to talk to you."
"It doesn't mean it fixes your feelings or takes away the sadness. You should just start to go, 'I'm OK'."
