Jennifer Lawrence has wowed the crowds at the LA premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in a see-through ballgown.

The Oscar winner, who plays lead role Katniss Everdeen in the film, wore a strapless black leotard that showed off her toned figure under the transparent dress.

Jennifer, 23, said she refuses to diet for roles and recently told InStyle: "Nothing can motivate me."

While preparing to go almost naked for her role in X-Men, she said: "I thought, 'Oh definitely, I'll work out and diet.' But nope. Not me!"

She was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, as well as Elizabeth Banks, who plays Effie Trinket in the films and wore a bright orange strapless dress.

Jena Malone, who makes her first Hunger Games appearance in Catching Fire as Johanna Mason, also went for a sheer look with a see-through dress that covered her up with blocks of sequins.

Also attending from the film's cast were Sam Claflin, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, Lenny Kravitz, Willow Shields, Evan Ross and his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson.

Other celebrities on the red carpet included Joe Jonas, Kylie Jenner, Jaden Smith and Willow Smith.
