Laurent's high hopes for Django
Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film, Django Unchained, will be "amazing", actress Melanie Laurent has predicted.
The French star, who starred in Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, has had a sneak peek of the script, although she won't be starring in it.
"I know already that there isn't a part for me. But the script is amazing, that's all I'll say," she told The Playlist.
Leonardo DiCaprio is expected to play villain Calvin Candie in the 'spaghetti Western', with Samuel L Jackson and Christoph Waltz rumoured to have roles in the film.
Melanie, who next stars in Mike Mills' Beginners opposite Ewan McGregor, said Inglourious Basterds changed her life. It was her first English-speaking role in a Hollywood film.
"People recognise me in the airport now in different cities. It's an international movie and it was a big success, so I have a lot more propositions from different directors and from a lot of different genres," she revealed.
