Keira 'stalker' trial discontinued
The trial of a man accused of harassing actress Keira Knightley has been discontinued.
Marek Daniluk, 41, of Godolphin Close, Enfield, north London, was arrested in February outside a West End theatre at which the star was performing.
Police were called to the Comedy Theatre after a woman complained about the behaviour of a man outside the venue.
The 24-year-old actress was performing alongside Damian Lewis in Moliere's The Misanthrope at the time.
Mr Daniluk appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday afternoon to stand trial for harassment but was told the matter had been discontinued and he was free to go.
Knightley has previously aired concern over alleged harassment unrelated to this case.
Two years ago she complained of having five stalkers.
It reportedly contributed to her decision to move from the UK to America.
