Juliette Lewis Licks a role in Hick
Juliette Lewis has signed up to star in indie drama Hick, alongside Chloe Moretz and Blake Lively.
The Juliette And The Licks rocker will star in the adaptation of Andrea Portes' debut novel of the same name, about a 13-year-old Nebraska girl who runs away from her fighting parents to Las Vegas and gets caught up with a drug addict, Variety reports.
Juliette has also signed up to appear in thriller Single Shot, about a deer poacher who encounters trouble when he accidentally shoots a woman and then discovers a bag of money belonging to a killer while trying to hide the body.
Hick also stars Eddie Redmayne and will be directed by Derick Martini from a script written by author Andrea.
Alessandro Nivola and William H Macy, Juno Temple and Emily Mortimer are also set to star in Single Shot which will be directed by David Rosenthal and scripted by Matthew F Jones, who wrote the original book.
In the last year musician and actress Juliette has appeared in comedies Due Date and The Switch as well as drama Conviction.
