Jonah Hill has revealed he took tips from his dad while working on new film Get Him To The Greek.
The Superbad star plays a young record company intern given the job of getting a wild rock star, played by Russell Brand, to a concert at LA's Greek theatre, and as his father and brother work in the music industry, he drew on their experiences for the movie.
Jonah said: "My dad is a very straight-laced sweet family man. He would go on the road, when I was growing up, with a lot of wild rock stars and stuff. So a lot of stories and things, right off the bat, were things that had happened, that I had heard about from my dad, you know."
The 26-year-old actor played a wild teen in Superbad but insists his role is very different in this latest comedy.
Jonah said: "My character Aaron in Get Him To The Greek is a very sweet, sincere, ambitious young guy. He gets put into the wrong hands, and those hands belong to an insane rock star."
:: Get Him To The Greek is released on June 25.
