Jodie Whittaker has revealed she felt empowered when she got to fire a gun in Perrier's Bounty.
The British actress shoots a gangster in the film, which also stars Cillian Murphy and Jim Broadbent.
"I know I shouldn't be quoted on this, but it was so empowering - I know that is awful because you do actually shoot it and obviously it's blank, but as a woman actress, you never get to b****y do anything like that," she said.
"You're always crying and saying, 'Oh my God, someone help me'. Whereas in this, I was hitting Jim, running and smacking people with sticks, so to shoot it, it really surprised me because I've never done it before. It's quite exciting."
Jodie admitted she didn't have to undergo training or learn how to operate a gun.
"No, there's always someone on set who's always very serious," she explained.
"There's a real countdown, like, 'Does everyone have their earpieces in?'...and there's always one who doesn't and there's a big panic. It's a really dramatic thing."
