Samuel L Jackson has admitted he would sign up for more Marvel movies in an instant.
The actor's current deal is to play Nick Fury in nine films - with six previous outings including the Iron Man and Avenger movies already under his belt - but he told Fandango he would definitely extend his contract if that was an option.
Asked if he had any idea about the character's future, he admitted: "Nope, none whatsoever."
The 65-year-old went on: " I just know that the Marvel Universe is there, that there are things going on, and that I have three pictures left on my nine-picture deal. That's all I know. I've done six of them, and I'm about to do seven, so I'm running out of Marvel pictures - unless they extend my contract."
Samuel added that he would leap at the chance to play the S.H.I.E.L.D. boss in more movies.
"Hell, yeah! Why wouldn't I?" he said.
The actor will next be seen as Fury in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which is due out later this year.
