Jack is Back: Kiefer Sutherland confirms ‘24’ the movie going ahead
KIEFER Sutherland has confirmed that filming of the big screen adaptation of the hit American TV show 24 will begin next summer.
The movie adaptation, which has been in development since the series finished in 2010, has been delayed due to scheduling issues.
The 45 year old actor said: “I think we can make a great film. I mean, I don’t want to do it with a cane, but we’ll see. We’ll see what happens”.
Sutherland played US government agent Jack Bauer during the run of the series, which often caused controversy due to the torture tactics his character would use.
Shooting on the movie will begin next year after Sutherland wraps on the second series of his current show ‘Touch’.
