Dubliner Genevieve O'Reilly has landed a role in a new blockbuster drama alongside star Tim Roth.
The 39-year-old will play Roth's wife in new Sky Atlantic thriller Tin Star, which is currently filming in the Rocky Mountains in Canada.
Billed as a new revenge thriller, Tin Star tells the story of Jim Worth (Tim Roth), an ex-pat British police officer starting a new life with his family as police chief in Little Big Bear, an idyllic town near the Rocky Mountains.
When Jim takes a stand against an oil company that has brought drugs, prostitution and organised crime to the area, his life comes under threat.
But when Jim ducks the bullet meant for him leaving a member of his family dead, he embarks on a campaign for revenge which puts his family's lives in even more danger.
The drama is due to hit screens in 2017 and O'Reilly will take on the role of Jim's wife Angela.
The actress, who grew up in Australia and is a mother-of-two, has been making waves, in Ireland and further afield.
She won critical acclaim for her turn in The Secret alongside Jimmy Nesbitt - the chilling story of Northern Ireland couple, dentist Colin Howell and his lover Hazel Stewart, who murdered their spouses. The actress, who has appeared in both The Matrix sequels, has said she was hesitant about taking on such a challenging role.
"I did know I wanted to play Hazel but I was also anxious as this is real life," she said.
