Daniel Radcliffe has dismissed rumours about his sexuality, declaring that he's not gay, according to reports.

The Harry Potter star made the comment while being interviewed by MTV in the US.

Asked about his sexuality, Daniel is quoted as saying: "If people want to say that, they can. But I'm not. I'm straight."

He added: "My favourite thing, I saw was a guy on the internet who said, 'Of course he's gay. He's got a gay face,' which I thought was kind of an odd thing to say anyway."

"A 'gay face'? That's a very worrying thing, like they have sat at home and have got pictures of me next to other famous, gay (people)," he reportedly said.

Daniel, 20, who famously stripped naked for his stage role in Equus, spoke after making a major donation to a crisis and suicide prevention helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.
