Idris Elba has revealed he gets lots of film offers these days - including those of the top-shelf variety.
The Wire actor, who next stars in Takers alongside Hayden Christensen and Zoe Saldana, said at the film's Los Angeles premiere: "It feels good to be sent some good stuff - I love to act and I love to challenge myself and all these scripts are very different."
He then joked: "I'm getting offered a lot of porn these days which is fantastic."
Idris plays a bank robber in the action thriller, and has only compliments for his co-stars, which included rappers Chris Brown and TI.
"Well you know in this type of film, it's less about acting really. It's more about charisma and action sequences. But I tell you, both Chris and TI - they're very good actors," he said.
The British actor wants to head behind the cameras soon.
He said: "(Directing) is one of my goals, to get behind the scenes and pull some stuff together. I think I could do it well. I'm working with BBC Two as we speak about doing something."
:: Takers will be released in the UK on October 1.
