James Hong is hoping Ridley Scott will cast him in the rumoured Blade Runner sequel.
The veteran actor, whose films include Chinatown, Airplane! and Blade Runner, thinks he might be in with a chance to star in the rumoured follow-up to the multi-million dollar futuristic epic.
He said: "I heard they're making a sequel. I hope they put me into it. If you can get to Ridley, put in a good word for me!"
James, 82, who also voices Kung Fu Panda's Mr Ping, the hero's adoptive father, said he's still amazed by the quality of animation on both movies, which centre on a roly poly master of martial arts.
"I could not believe it," he explained. "It seemed like everything was done more or less like I was acting on camera with Jack Black, except that we were those characters, Po and Ping. It fitted so well. The directors did a wonderful job."
