Jonah Hill could be about to make his directorial debut with the coming of age movie The Kitchen Sink.
The 27-year-old actor - who is set to show off more of his writing and producing talents with the new film 21 Jump Street - has already had screenwriter, comedian, actor and producer alongside his name, so director should be just another notch on his professional belt.
According to Deadline, Jonah is in talks to work on The Kitchen Sink, a film about a vampire, zombie and human who try to save their town from aliens.
Producer Matt Tolmach told the website: "It's more in the spirit of The Breakfast Club than anything, but you get an idea of the title in an early scene."
He added: "Two kids are running from zombies and those zombies are suddenly attacked by vampires. Just when they are all facing off, there's a bright light overhead. You realize the aliens have landed and these groups have to band together, suppress the urge to kill each other, and it becomes thematically the enemy of my enemy is my friend. That makes it different than your usual zombie, vampire, or alien movie".
The script, which was written by Sony Pictures' Oren Uziel, was recently released in the 2010 Black List - Hollywood's annual list of the best unproduced screenplays.
