Hasselhoff Stretches out for film
David Hasselhoff could be making a cameo in Joe Carnahan's upcoming comedy Stretch.
The former Baywatch star is rumoured to be making an appearance alongside Ray Liotta in the forthcoming Universal film, reported The Wrap.
Chris Pine has already signed on to play a reclusive billionaire "with deviant appetites", while Patrick Wilson has been cast as Stretch, an unlucky limo driver who sees this new client as a way of paying off his gambling debts.
Stretch bends to the billionaire's every request in the hopes of landing a big fat tip to settle his score, but the night goes from strange to deadly as the hours go on.
Shaun Toub is to play the "no-nonsense owner of the limo company that employs Stretch", while The Hangover's Ed Helms, James Badge Dale and Brooklyn Decker also appear in the film.
Shooting is expected to begin in Los Angeles in the coming weeks, for a release in spring 2014.
David, who has starred as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch and Michael Knight in Knight Rider, previously appeared in Keith Lemon: The Film, Piranha 3DD and Click. He is preparing to start work on indie comedy Killing Hasselhoff, which he'll produce and star in.
