Gyllenhaal magics up a new role
Jake Gyllenhaal and Jesse Eisenberg are the first two names to be linked to Louis Leterrier's new film, Now You See Me.
The Social Network star is in talks for a leading role in the heist movie, while Jake is also said to be entertaining an offer, Variety reports.
The film, penned by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt, is about a group of magicians who pull off bank jobs during performances - which end with the audiences being showered in stolen money.
Colin Firth, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jim Carrey and Hugh Grant were apparently approached to appear in the film, before the makers decided to go for younger leads.
Philip Seymour Hoffman, Olivia Wilde and Melanie Laurent all have offers out to them but no details are known as yet.
Jake, who last starred in Source Code, is currently shooting David Ayer's End Of Watch, while Jesse - who was propelled to fame following his portrayal of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg - is expected to be jetting to Italy soon to film Bop Decameron with Woody Allen.
