AFTER being handed the best actor award, George Clooney thanked fellow nominee Michael Fassbender for taking the responsibility for "frontal nudity" from him.

On accepting his award, Clooney not only thanked friend Brad Pitt, but also took a moment to commend fellow nominee IrishmanMichael Fassbender following his recent performance in Steve McQueen's sex-addiction film Shame.



“I would like to thank Michael Fassbender for taking over the frontal nude responsibly that I had,” Clooney joked, referring to Fassbender’s oft-nude appearance.



“Really Michael, honestly, you can play golf like this with your hands behind your back,” George said, while making a golf swing motion with his hands behind back. “Go for it man, do it!”
