Gary Oldman for Arthur project?
Gary Oldman is apparently being courted by Warner Bros to appear in Arthur And Lancelot.
The Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy actor, who is tipped for an Oscar for this performance as George Smiley in the John Le Carre spy adaptation, is wanted for the role of Merlin, Deadline reports.
David Dobkin will direct the film, which he has also scripted.
Casting directors are also keen on Joel Kinnaman for the Lancelot role, and will test actors shortly for the role of Arthur.
Gary is currently in New York, filming Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
