Foxx eyed for White House Down
Jamie Foxx is in the running to play a US President in action thriller White House Down.
While official negotiations have not even started, the Oscar-winning actor is already in the frame for Roland Emmerich's upcoming film, Variety reported.
Channing Tatum has already been cast as a Secret Service agent, who has to save and defend the President when the White House comes under attack.
Described as a cross between Die Hard and Air Force One, the film has been written by Zodiac's James Vanderbilt.
Jamie - whose real name is Eric Bishop - was last seen in comedy Horrible Bosses, and has been filming Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
He received the Oscar for best actor in 2004 for his highly acclaimed performance as musician Ray Charles in Ray.
