Forest Whitaker to be in Taken 3?
Forest Whitaker is in talks to star in Taken 3.
The Oscar-winning actor is said to be in negotiations to join the cast of the third instalment, reported Deadline.
Liam Neeson is set to reprise his role as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills, with Maggie Grace as his daughter Kim.
Olivier Megaton will be back in the director's chair for the latest film, following his work on the 2012 sequel. Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen have written the screenplay for Taken 3.
Production is expected to begin around March.
Robert told Hollywood.com that a third film hadn't been planned, until the success of the previous films.
"We didn't start talking about Taken 3 until we saw the numbers. But then we said, 'Oh, OK. I think we should do a third one'," he said. "And Fox wants us to do a third one. We've taken everyone we can take - it's going to go in another direction. Should be interesting."
Forest, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in The Last King Of Scotland, has received acclaim for his performance as Cecil Gaines in Lee Daniels' The Butler.
The 52-year-old, who stars in thriller Out Of The Furnace, alongside Casey Affleck and Zoe Saldana, will also feature in drama Two Men In Town with Harvey Keitel and Brenda Blethyn.
