Jason Flemyng has revealed that he will not be returning to the X-Men fold.
The 46-year-old, who appears in British thriller Welcome To The Punch, admitted that he won't reprise his role as Azazel in Bryan Singer's sequel Days Of Future Past, but said he doesn't mind now that he's a father of twins.
"I don't think I will be back. Initially I was gutted, but then, I remembered I had to get up at two in the morning, I had to be painted red and be slightly out of focus and posed a lot, and that was sort of it. Now I don't have to do that," he said.
"I've had twins so I'm quite glad to stay at home. It's filmed in Canada and it takes about seven months so I'm quite glad to be at home."
His Welcome To The Punch co-star James McAvoy will return to play Professor X, alongside Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence and former X-Men cast members Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen.
"I am gutted because Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, McAvoy and that lot are back so I think they will have a good time," he added.
Jason revealed that he's choosy about his film roles now that he's a dad.
"I used to be quite a gypsy and the first thing I used to ask about a script was where it is filmed. If I haven't been there, I would be really interested but that's sort of over now - for now at least," he said.
"Those jobs in Uzbekistan, Syria, Jordan and that I've been lucky to film in are no longer appealing to me. Now it's about whether it's within the M25."
:: Welcome To The Punch opens in cinemas on March 15.
