Favreau walks down Wall Street
Jon Favreau is rumoured to have joined The Wolf Of Wall Street.
The Iron Man director is stepping in front of the cameras and is tipped to play a securities lawyer in Martin Scorsese's big-screen adaptation of Jordan Belfort's memoir, reported Deadline.
Leonardo DiCaprio is already on board as the lead character - a hard-partying, drug-addicted stockbroker who served a 22-month prison gig after being indicted in 1998 for security fraud and money laundering.
Oscar-winner Jean Dujardin, Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie and Rob Reiner also have roles in the supporting cast.
Sopranos scriptwriter Terry Winter is to write the screenplay, Jordan revealed.
"After almost four years in development, I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to finally be working with Leo and Marty on this - they're the ultimate Dream Team, and it was definitely worth the wait," he told the Hollywood Reporter.
Jon, who directed the first two Iron Man films and Cowboys And Aliens, previously starred in Couples Retreat, Iron Man 3 and John Carter.
His next directorial outing is with Magic Kingdom, featuring the famous theme park.
