Drake is in talks to make another big-screen appearance in Arbitrage, it has been reported.
A spokesperson for producer Johnny Lin's Filmula company confirmed to The Wrap that the four-time Grammy-nominated rapper is considering joining Al Pacino and Susan Sarandon in the financial thriller, which will be written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki.
It is not known what role Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, would take. He has previously appeared in Charlie Bartlett.
The film would see Susan and Al enjoy their highly anticipated reunion, after co-starring in the Jack Kevorkian biopic You Don't Know Jack.
Oscar-winner Al will play a hedge-fund magnate who is in over his head and desperate to complete the sale of his shady trading empire to a major bank before his fraud is revealed, while Susan will play his wife.
Former Bond girl Eva Green will play the art-dealer mistress.
The movie is slated to begin filming in March in New York.
