Downton Abbey star Sophie McShera has been tipped for a role in the new Cinderella movie.
The British actress - who plays kitchen maid-turned-assistant cook Daisy Mason in the period drama - is currently in negotiations to play a wicked stepsister in Disney's live action version of the classic fairytale, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.
If Sophie signs up she will be reunited with fellow Downton actress Lily James, who has been cast as the lead in the film.
Cate Blanchett is playing the wicked stepmother, with Richard Madden as the prince. And earlier this week it was revealed that Holliday Grainger would play the other wicked stepsister.
Cinderella will be directed by Kenneth Branagh, who is expected to start shooting in the autumn.
