Shailene Woodley and her Divergent co-stars are to appear at San Diego's Comic-Con, it has been revealed.
Theo James, Miles Teller, Maggie Q, Ansel Elgort and Mekhi Phifer will be joined by director Neil Burger and author Veronica Roth to take part in the panel, and premiere the first footage from the futuristic thriller.
It comes as director Peter Jackson admitted he will not be previewing any footage from The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, nor will the stars attend the convention this year.
"I just want to pass on some news, which I'm sure is going to be disappointing to anyone going to Comic-Con this year, any fans. A couple of days ago I told [Warner Bros] that I just really wasn't ready to present anything of The Desolation Of Smaug at Comic-Con this year," he said in a video posted on the film's production blog.
Peter admitted that he's hard at work on the movie, the second in the Hobbit trilogy.
"We're still shooting, and we're going to be shooting through the period of Comic-Con. I'm so busy shooting... that every hour that I spend focusing on a really great reel for Comic-Con - and it would have to be great - would be hours spent away from the vital job of making the second and third Hobbit films as cool as they can possibly be," he explained.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and I, Frankenstein are already in the line-up for the convention, with stars from both films participating in the Q&A panels.
The 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, which takes place at the San Diego Convention Centre, runs from July 18 to 21.
