Directing is a drug, says Gael

Gael Garcia Bernal has likened directing to a drug.
The Mexican actor-filmmaker has directed two films, Deficit and 8 - The Letter, and would love to do more.
"Yeah, I would like to do it - once you do it, it is like a great drug, you have to keep on doing it, with moderation," he said.
The 31-year-old next stars in Letters To Juliet with Amanda Seyfried, where he plays an intensely passionate chef who whisks his fiancee (Seyfried) off to Verona to add some much-needed spark in their lives.
Asked what the most romantic thing he has ever done, Gael admitted: "The most romantic thing is just the decision of wanting to be an actor, because it is difficult to be sure that you are going to have work.
"So I think the journey of an actor is very romantic but the same way as the journey of a person who wants to study medicine. You sacrifice a lot and it's an incredibly romantic journey."
:: Letters To Juliet will be in cinemas on June 9.
