Dame Helen Mirren worked the rock chick look on the red carpet at the European premiere of Arthur - but she admitted working with the film's young cast exhausted her.
The 65-year-old Oscar-winning actress wore diamond hoop earrings, a leopard print gown, a leather jacket, a safety pin necklace and slicked back hair to join co-stars Russell Brand, Greta Gerwig and Geraldine James for the premiere at London's O2.
Dame Helen said: "It was great fun but it was really hard. We had a great comedy director [Jason Winer] who unfortunately is also very young, so he had the energy of like 50 people. And then of course you had Russell who had the energy of 50 people.
"So I was staggering along going 'can we go home yet?' It was very demanding, but it was great fun. Russell kept you laughing all the time."
Brand arrived at the premiere by speedboat on the River Thames with wife Katy Perry, who signed autographs for fans before kissing her husband farewell and leaving him to his adoring public.
Some fans were dressed in top hats and some in animal suits as Russell had tweeted that the person with the most ridiculous outfit may be chosen to join him and Katy to watch the film.
Arthur is a remake of the Oscar-winning 1981 film starring Dudley Moore, Liza Minnelli and Sir John Gielgud.
Brand takes on the role of an alcoholic, party-loving billionaire who gives up all his money for love.
He said he related to the character "quite a lot, because he's a jolly, pleasant sort of chap and I used to drink too much, and then there's loads of things I couldn't identify with like being a billionaire".
