Colin Firth unveils Hollywood star
Colin Firth now has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The British actor, nominated for a Golden Globe for his latest film, The King's Speech, unveiled his pavement tribute in front of the Pig 'N Whistle pub on Hollywood Boulevard.
It is the 2,429th star dedicated on the avenue of dreams.
Colin has also received a Screen Actors Guild award nomination for his role as King George VI in The King's Speech, and is a favourite for an Oscar nod. The Academy Award nominations will be announced on January 25.
The 50-year-old was a best actor nominee at the Oscars, Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards last year for his performance in A Single Man.
Colin's movie credits include Bridget Jones's Diary, Shakespeare In Love, Mamma Mia! and The English Patient.
