Irish actor Chris O'Dowd is steering away from his successful comedy career for his most high profile dramatic role to date.
The Bridesmaids star, who hails from Roscommon, will be playing the part of David Walsh, the journalist who exposed the Lance Armstrong doping scandal.
The film is based on Walsh's book, Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit of Lance Armstrong.
Joining O'Dowd on screen is Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons and French actor Guilaume Canet.
It marks Chris' biggest role yet and will be covering Lance's career as a multiple Tour de France winner, his fall from grace following the performance-enhancing drugs scandal and beating testicular cancer.
