Harold And Kumar star John Cho says fans can expect "filth" combined with Christmas cheer in the third film of the franchise.
Cho appears alongside Kal Penn in A Very Harold And Kumar 3D Christmas, which sees the marijuana-loving duo team up to search New York City for a Christmas tree.
Speaking at the film's Los Angeles premiere, John revealed: "We've got a lot more of everything this time around, and all the familiars - Harold and Kumar are back, Neil Patrick Harris is back, but it's a legitimate Christmas movie.
"It's sweet but it's got all the filth you can expect from Harold and Kumar."
The first movie to feature the pair, Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle, was released in 2004, while a sequel, Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, came out in 2008.
The director of the latest movie, Todd Strauss-Schulson, revealed he fought to make the film so he could ensure it wasn't "lame".
He said: "I wanted to make it so that on a Friday night, as a fan, I could go to the theatre and not be bummed out that they screwed it up or something.
"Everything that we shot, everything that we wrote, everything that we cut, I really did it thinking of myself on a Friday night - what's going to be stupid, what's going to be lame, how could it be awesome - and making my favourite version of a third Harold and Kumar movie."
