The 55-year-old action superstar was reflecting on his global popularity after revealing a new waxwork of his likeness at Hollywood's Madame Tussauds.

"I hope one day, when I retire, people still remember me," the actor explained.

He joked: "One of the good things about the waxwork is that it never gets old. It's always a young Jackie Chan!"

The Rush Hour star said he was flattered to be asked to pose again.

"They were probably trying to make me happy, they said, 'you're the most popular wax in every country!' so this is why they need me again and again.

"I'm so happy, I've certainly been recognised by every country, different people, different religions - that makes me happy," the actor added.
