Henry Cavill has broken the news to DC Comics fans that he doesn't think a Justice League movie will happen any time soon.

Cinema's latest Superman told ABC News that it seemed unlikely a film uniting all of the DC Comics heroes would be just around the corner.

He said: "Justice League, more [Superman] movies, I have no idea. Justice League could be great if done correctly.

"It's a very tough one to do because the DC Comics heroes are all god-like in their power and so in this real-world setting we're telling our story in, it's going to be tough to achieve that.

"It has to be done very delicately and with a lot of thought and so it won't be right away, or I hope it's not, anyway."

He continued: "It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters and introducing them together in one way or another."
