Casey shocked by Killer scenes

Casey Affleck has revealed he is still left open-mouthed by the violent scenes in The Killer Inside Me.
The 34-year-old plays sheriff-turned-serial killer Lou Ford in Michael Winterbottom's thriller, which sees him beating up his mistress (Jessica Alba) and his wife (Kate Hudson).
"I definitely still found it shocking, because especially with Michael, because he shoots from 20 different angles and you really have no idea how it's going to look - and a scene can be totally different from anything you've shot. You can take a scene and cut it up, put it in different places," he said. "So yeah, of course I was still shocked when I watched the violence on screen."
The movie got a lot of stick for its violence at the Sundance Film Festival.
Casey said: "I wasn't too surprised. It seems like a knee-jerk reaction of righteousness indignation about nothing really.
"You get that at film festivals, where the responses are always more extreme, in either direction, both positive and negative."
