Carrey wants Bruce Almighty sequel
Jim Carrey has revealed he would like to reprise his roles in Bruce Almighty and Dumb and Dumber.
The comic actor, who next stars in Mr Popper's Penguins, teased about returning to the former hit comedies.
"We're talking about maybe returning to some old characters that everyone has been asking about - there's Bruce Almighty and we're talking about maybe another Dumb and Dumber," he told Comingsoon.net.
Dumb and Dumber, released in 1994 and directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, was one of Jim's break-out comedy roles, while 2003's Bruce Almighty was also a hit.
Both films have released follow-ups without Jim's involvement. Bruce Almighty had a spin-off with Evan Almighty in 2007, featuring Steve Carell as the lead.
A prequel to Dumb and Dumber, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, was released in 2003, with Eric Christian Olsen and Derek Richardson in the titular roles.
